Lighted Bridge Grand Re-opening

The Raccoon River Valley Trail Association (RRVTA), Adel Chamber & Economic Development, and Dallas County Conservation invite the public to celebrate the reopening of the beloved bridge during the Bridge Is Back Celebration on Friday, August 21.

The evening will begin with a Community Bike Ride with celebrity guest, Jason Parkin, departing from the Waukee Trailhead at 5:00pm. Cyclists are encouraged to ride together to Adel in celebration of the restored trail connection. Upon arrival, a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will take place at 6:00pm at the Adel Lighted Bridge, officially marking the bridge’s return to the community
