Summer Sendoff River Float

Wave goodbye to summer break from your canoe or kayak! This route (Redfield to Pleasant Valley WMA) will cover about 8 miles of the rocky Middle / South Raccoon River, so it is not recommended for beginner paddlers. As we paddle, we’ll discuss the geological and cultural history of the areas we encounter.

Participants must provide your own boat(s), paddle(s), and life jacket(s). A group shuttle vehicle will be provided.
